Secondly, one can dance non-stop in Second Life and do dance moves that would break something if done in real life…Grins . In DJ Clyde own words “People make noise when the music feels good to them, they shout like gestures. Music tends to bring out the same emotion in people in both RL or SL. However in Second Life people can TP out but in Real Life if they don't like the DJ it takes them longer to escape so, have more time to change direction and keep them there.”

"MOURNING IN AMERICA" "This song is an observation on the culture of murder and death and our society. It's a critique of our hypocrisy as it relates to the taking of innocent lives. Power to the peaceful."     ~Brother Ali

"The underground Albino best known for his bare honesty and daunting sociopolitical messages is back upon the always-groovy Jake Uno beats that are hard not to like"  ~VIBE

Fully recharged and inspired by his eye-opening first trip to Mecca, the 2011 uprisings in the Middle East, and the world wide Occupy movements, Brother Ali is prepared to unveil his fourth full-length offering Mourning in America and Dreaming in Color. Created during a self-imposed two-month exile in Seattle and helmed by platinum-selling producer Jake One (50 Cent, T.I., Wiz Khalifa), the album presents a scathing yet honest critique of America and its many flaws while simultaneously presenting a hopeful outlook of its possibilities. Preceded by the release of free music downloads with accompanying music videos such as “Shine On," "Writer’s Block,” and “Not A Day Goes By," Mourning in America and Dreaming in Color is the pièce de résistance.

In an age of hip-hop where the paradigm of swag over substance reigns supreme, few emcees are willing to use their platform to tackle the hot-button topics and pressing social maladies of our time - but it’s apparent that Minneapolis-based hip-hop artist Brother Ali is one of those few. Over the course of 14 tracks with assists from esteemed author/ professor Dr. Cornel West, revered Southern hip-hop icon Bun B, and Def Poetry Jam poet Amir Sulaiman, the album brazenly holds a mirror to the idiosyncrasies of American life while simultaneously painting a vibrant portrait of its wondrous potential. Actualizing hip-hop’s full range of motion as a gage for the times, Mourning In America and Dreaming In Color asserts itself as the definitive soundtrack of a disenchanted, disenfranchised, and wildly optimistic citizenry during a landmark period in American history.

Mourning in America and Dreaming in Color, in all its sonic and lyrical glory, promises to be both the voice of a burgeoning new critical American consciousness and the beacon of hope for those that hold fast to its ideals and potential.

On September 12th, Brother Ali and friends will kick off his promotional North American tour appropriately entitled, Mourning in America. The 38 show dates start and end on the beautiful California coastline but will hit every major city from Dallas, Texas to Vancouver, Canada. Ali will be accompanied by his new band, Blank Tape Beloved, a 5 piece ensemble that incorporates Jake One's thundering drums with a powerhouse horn section, keys and guitar.

Pre-Order the CD "Mourning in America Dreaming in Color" from
CD will be released September 18, 2012

NEW MUSIC: In My World by Jah van I

Jah van I
Dubbed “The new Golden Voice”, Jah Van I (Vanern Dwayne Tulloch) brings an incomparable unique sound to Reggae music. His first single on Royal Warriors Muzik label, “In My World”, debuted at number 4 on the widely acclaimed Stampede Street Charts, in Jamaica.

Jah Van I made his first professional recording in 1999, a single called “Pictures Frame” for producer Chris Knight, but there was very little promotion behind the project. It was in 2010 when he encountered Royal Warriors Muzik by coincidence at Anchor Recording Studio where he met Owner/ Founder, Bhyrr. Bhyrr was working on a project with Clive Hunt. Jah Van I gave Bhyrr a sample of his music. The following year, when Bhyrr happened to be with Mavado’s brother (Muskilla), they met Jah Van I again. On that occasion Royal Warriors Muzik decided to sign Jah Van I. Almost immediately they began work on their first record “In My World”. Royal Warriors Muzik now exclusively produces and and manages Jah Van I. They are currently promoting Jah Van I’s debut album entitled In My World.
